ABOUT MEI am the Founder and Chief Dot Connector of Acton Grant Consulting, LLC. I stumbled into grants and fundraising in 2004 and haven't really looked back.
I was going to be an English teacher, but one semester with Herman Melville killed that dream. Instead I turned to anthropology - a natural fit for my insatiable curiosity and mind for digging deep into why. I later got my Masters in Public Administration so I could fulfill my passion of making the world a better place. After a career in nonprofit grants and development, I took a leap of faith and started Acton Grant Consulting in March 2020. (Yep, right at the beginning of a global pandemic.) I have had the honor of working with folks from New York to Hawai'i to help them achieve their organizational dreams through strategy and grants. I truly believe stories have the power to change lives. I can't wait to help you tell yours.
